We have seen the end of a beginning
And the beginning of an end has just begun!
Thank God the old has expired
And here comes the new for which we aspired
The new beckons and for the old, we reckon
God’s blessings made the old year count
So, it’s time to look back and do a recount
In a snap, the times did change
It’s season to carefully consider
It’s time to ponder such a wonder
We have seen what our eyes longed to behold
As layers upon layers, they unfold
Our hands have handled HIS riches untold
We’re still here when some lives were put on hold
We do have reasons to celebrate
For HIS love and life we need to jubilate
